Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Where is The Cooking Professor?

Our address is 267 Scarborough Beach Road, Mt Hawthorn

How long do classes run?

In our unique hands on learning environment everyone is broken into small teams and everyone makes a different dish under the guidance of the instructor. You then sit down at the end and share the food in a massive feast! Standard classes run for 3 hours - you will be cooking for 2 hours in our open-plan kitchen. In an interactive learning environment, you will discover how each dish is prepared and made. You will then sit down to share all the dishes, and enjoy the fruits of your labour!

How many people are in a class?

Our classes are limited to small numbers (please see here for Corporate & Private Events) so you get plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor to ask questions, learn tips and tricks, and of course meet new people!

Are the classes hands-on?

The classes are completely hands-on: you will be cooking for 2 hours in our open-plan kitchen. In an interactive learning environment, you will discover how each dish is prepared and made. You will then sit down to share all the dishes, and enjoy the fruits of your labour!

Do I need to bring anything?
