This beautiful modern and striking winery and art gallery can be found in the Chittering Valley near Gingin. Their really excellent wines are remarkable value for money.

This is a relatively new Swan Valley Winery that is making fantastic wine. The 2005 Shiraz is exceptionally good.

Willespie Wines
Willespie is one of the oldest Margaret River Wineries and is still family-run. It is located in the famed Willyabrup region. Willespie's speciality is lovely aged wine.

Edgecombe Brothers Winery and Cafe
Not only is this old Swan Valley Winery (established in 1925) one of the valley's best wineries, but Edgecombe Brothers is also renowned for their home grown asparagus.

The Loose Box
OK, I'm biased, but if the Loose Box were in France it would be at least a Michelin two star. Just book in at the cottages and leave yourself in Alain's and Lizzie's hands. Say hello to Olivier.

The C&O
If you are ever anywhere near Washington, D.C. make the detour to Charlottesville, the home of Thomas Jefferson and the University of Virginia, and visit the C&O. It will be worth it. I had a wonderful time there, and so will you.
